I studied Shiatsu, Oriental Diagnosis,and Macrobiotics at the Kushi Institute in London, between 1981 and 1985, gaining a Shiatsu Certificate in 1984. In 1985 I began to practice and teach Shiatsu and Oriental Diagnosis at the Ost-West Zentrum in Hamburg, Germany. My teaching schedule expanded to working in various towns and cities in the north of Germany. In late 1988 I returned to Ireland, and began to practice here, giving regular workshops on Shiatsu, What the Face Reveals at venues throughout Ireland. In 1989 I initiated the founding of the Shiatsu Society of Ireland. |
On successfully completing training with the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy in 1994 and 1995 I added that discipline to my practice, offering a much broader range of options in treating people of all ages. In June 2003 I graduated from the Burren School of Homoeopathy.
Healthcare
As mentioned, I treat all ages, from very young babies to people in their 90's. Whether the problem is physical, or stress-related in origin my intention is to use my skills to treat each individual in a way that not just relieves their problem, but enhances their quality of life.
Business
The field of human communication is my particular passion.I'm especially fascinated by how we communicate visually - a huge area, given that some 93% of our communication is non-verbal. Central to my mission is sharing the skills of Face Reading with clients in the business world to enhance their decision making, and their abilities to form strong win-win relationships.
